The History of Diener Precision Pumps More than 25 years of experience in design, engineering and quality production of precision metering and micro gear pumps. Reliability and continuity for your strategic development for more than 25 years. Diener Precision Pumps was born with a focus on quality workmanship: More than 60 years ago, Rolf Diener’s father, Oskar Diener, established Diener AG – with only one lathe and a manual drill. By offering precise, mechanically accurate and on-time work, his company eventually became one of the most successful suppliers in the field of precision engineering. Only the very best is good enough – that is the guiding principle that Diener AG lives by. And the same applies to Diener Precision Pumps – the company that was spun off from Diener AG more than 20 years ago. Diener Precision Pumps shares with its parent company the passion for precision and sharp focus on the customer. In order to be able to offer custom solutions for the wide range of customers’ issues, DPP combined traditional craftsmanship, a state-of-the-art machine park and reliable engineering skills. This special combination is what makes the company so distinctive today. In 2019, DPP joined Acrotec Group to take the unique advantage of their manufacturing synergies. Acrotec is an independent group created by micromechanical professionals. Their main objective is to be the preferred supplier of precision machined components, offering a wide range of precision manufacturing processes. Their strategy is to provide quality «Swiss Made» products to the watchmaking, automotive, medical, jewellery, electronics and aeronautic industries. Acrotec distinguish themselves by the breath of their know-how under one roof, in their precision machining expertise (CNC turning, multi-spindle CNC profile-turning, cam profile-turning, 3 & 5 axes milling, micro profile-turning, transfer and machining of precious metals), by their support processes (surface treatments, gearing, assembling, heat treatments, laser decorating and engraving) and by their specific processes (UV-Liga component manufacturing, EDM, synthetic stone machining, laminating, spring shaping, design and manufacturing of machines and tooling, Silicon etching by DRIE process). Today, the group has over 1200 employees.
